Public holiday of what country/state?

Unfortunately, this painting doesn't exist anymore as shown here.
I ornated it whit setting for a ritual (that I don't know myself).
No one invited me to the final feast.
If I find the time and suiting circumstances, I'll present the "after".
I have no rational explanation, but the final result (not shown here) makes me think of Kurt Vonnegut.
Probably because it shows an obsessive ambiance.
