Both paintings oil on canvas 70x90cm.  Both painted in 2016.
Apples happen to have a nice round shape. They reflect the light in a nice way. Therefore a painted apple is a nice illusion. Symbolism in paintings is a dangerrous thing to my concern. But an apple can do as not too heavy symbolism for all times. But don't ask me what's behind the symbol.
